An oil industry engineering professional running small consultancy Satso Energy & Offshore Pte Ltd. (www.satsogroupsg.com) has created. Thanks to small number of supporting companies, the consultancy is still around. The work on this action oriented site was started in 2017 as CSR initiative & it is now bearing fruits. The thinking & deliberations started many years before,
A childhood desire to plant trees has been a nearly impossible thing. So the idea was borne to catalyze tree plantation rather than just finding opportunities to plant trees. All most all the money & effort put to materialize readymade tree nurseries has failed. Also, many attempts with work with web designers have failed to shape the vision of this site. Many visits to Vadodara has been made to materialize some of the projects.
Many many frauds & constantly finding a way to design this platform along with gruelling but unproductive assignment has pushed the developer of this platform to physical collapse two times, one of which was near death. If the ordeal is not good enough, so far 2020 has remain no business year for the consultancy.
While the fate is finishing the company & his sole task master, the ambition has been growing steadily as lot of mental energy has gone into exploring & conceptualizing a concept.
The physical weakness resulted due to illness & hospitalization during the December, 2019 continued for months. The joblessness gave space to attempt webdesign ourselves. Many courses, video watching and repeated attempts did not lead to anywhere. Our look out for a developer/s have still not materialized although we contacted many so called professionals.
The life is indeed fragile & a great deal of push come from the fact is that it may be too late if webdesign is studied in a college for an year or two because then all the savings will be wiped out.
Countless sessions of 6-16 hours of work in one sitting for creating a seed like this is just monumental effort for not much. However, our request is that visitors of this site try to use this site & join one or two of the groups to be active in beatification & plantation projects. We have provided functionalities where there are many ways to reach us. Idea is to guide you to a right activity group.
Future plan for this site: To develop chapters in each city. Two high level platforms influencing policy makers are also in the works. It is imperative to get people participate & activate various activity groups. The site may not have everything users need but once it is being used and we know what is needed, the inputs will go into scaling up to make it a multicity platform.
City level chapter lead need to be located. Also activity champions for city to lead each group will be needed & we suppose that platform users & volunteers will assist. We also think exchange for eco-products is also needed.
